In the rue des Tanneurs, a house special about this include a re-registration on one of its facades. Echoing the location of a building oldest disappeared during the destruction of Munster during the First World War, it was high after 1918 reusing, a lack of means, the rubble left on site or nearby. A note available head down lines, thus reversed.

The inscriptions refer to three characters:

Jean-Jacques BAUDINOT, born March 3, 1671, Brisach, was mayor Catholic Munster between 1703 and 1736. He is the son of Jean-Baptiste BAUDINOT (born around 1644), Mayor of Brisach, then the first Catholic mayor of Munster of 1684 to 1703.

A. BRASSIGNY, entrepreneur ( "Baumeister"), was undoubtedly a member of the Magistrate. The year "1720" refers to the likely date of construction of the original building.

André SCHWARS or SCHWARZ was Lutheran mayor from 1700 to 1725 (he died on December 24, 1725).
All three have participated in the work of the Magistrate and directed the affairs of the City and the Commonwealth of inhabitants of the Val Saint Gregory in the early eighteenth century.

Registration is likely to be linked to the Catholic school, founded by Jean-Baptiste Baudinot, father of Jean-Jacques Baudinot, who was at that location.
